Even if you feel like you have tried every diet and weight loss plan out there, Noom is different. Noom uses a series of quizzes to evaluate your whole body, including your background, habits and psychology behind why you are unhealthy in the first place with a series of evaluations.
Noom can help with the reasons you overeat. They focus on significant lasting results so you can end dieting forever.
The company published research in internationally recognized journals which has shown that 64% of Noom users lost 5% or more of body weight, greatly reducing their risk of diabetes and other conditions.
In 2017, Noom’s program received full recognition by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
HOW IT WORKS
Noom takes a more psychological approach with extensive onboarding and daily quizzes to get to the root of the “why” around what you do with food and exercise.
Noom uses virtual psychologists and coaches to encourage your journey. Taking 10 minutes a day on the user-friendly app to tackle some of the issues behind eating. They use humor along the way which helps keep it fun and fresh!
They will ask you “how” questions from how active you are to what combination of food you like and if you have a sweet tooth, salty cravings or both. At the end of questions, Noom will show you WHEN you will be at your goal weight, which is really encouraging.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST
The plan pricing is comparable to other plans. The 16-week customized program costs $159 for 8 months or about $20/month for the online program. For a comparison, Weight Watchers is about $22 a month for the app and in-person weekly meetings.
